'weak-minded'는

'feeble-minded'와 유의어로

 

어떤 사람이 'weak-minded'라고 하면

원어민들은 그사람이 '정신 박약자'라고
생각할 것입니다.

 

그 이유는 'mind'라는 단어는

'사고할 수 있는 능력'을 가리키기

때문입니다.

 

그래서

'weak-minded'를

'weak-willed'로 

바꾸어 주어야 합니다.

 

'a weak-willed person'은

 

우리말로

'결단력 없는, 우유부단한,
